I completely agree, Cendrine! Poetry is the lifeline of our spoken and written word...it stirs the heart, stimulates the mind, awakens the spirit, and nourishes the soul...these are all deeply human and innately spiritual tasks and completely necessary to the human condition. If I were to meet a poet at a social engagement I know I would find that person wonderfully intriguing! Keep writing your beautiful words...the world DOES need the artists, sculptors. musicians, actors, potters, painters, and, yes, the poets....
